Angels in America

These images were shot at Oak Grove Cemetery, Norfolk, Virginia, mid-day,  the worst time of day to shoot. However, that is when I could slip away.  I intend to return soon -late afternoon- to get some really great light and beautiful images.

This reminded me of Tony Kushner's Pulitzer Prize winning play

    Looks like a remarkable cemetery with monuments worthy of a place at Pere Lachaise. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.

      Oak Grove dates to the early 19th Century, though most likely not as elegant as the cemetery in Paris.

    Your images a beautiful even at mid day. Cemeteries are my favorite places to wander and take photos. Oak Grove looks lovely. Definitley do head back in early evening.
